In het kader van het lopend federaal gerechtelijk onderzoek naar een criminele organisatie in de voetbalwereld, valsheid in geschrifte, witwassen van geld en private corruptie (Operatie ‘Zero’) werd heden aan de Onderzoekscoördinator Competitievervalsing van het Bondsparket bij de KBVB inzage en afschrift gegeven van een aantal stukken uit het strafdossier, gerelateerd aan het zgn. ‘luik matchfixing’.
Dit is gebeurd op schriftelijk verzoek van de Onderzoekscoördinator en na goedkeuring door de onderzoeksrechter en het federaal parket.
De Onderzoekscoördinator werd door de Bondsprocureur aangesteld als leider van het disciplinaire onderzoek inzake mogelijke competitievervalsing in de eindfase van het vorige voetbalseizoen.
De toelating tot inzage en afschrift is beperkt tot een lijst van 35 stukken die relevant zijn voor de disciplinaire finaliteit en waarvan de vrijgave de belangen van het strafonderzoek niet in het gedrang brengt.

Dans le cadre de l’enquête judiciaire fédérale en cours sur une organisation criminelle dans le monde du football, faux en écritures, blanchiment d’argent et corruption privée (opération « Zéro »), le coordinateur de l’enquête pour fraude à la compétition du parquet de l’Union auprès de l’URBSFA a reçu aujourd’hui accès à et copie de certaines pièces du dossier pénal relatif au « volet matchs truqués ».
Cela a eu lieu sur demande écrite du coordinateur de l’enquête disciplinaire et après approbation du juge d’instruction et du parquet fédéral.
Le coordinateur de l’enquête disciplinaire a été désigné par le procureur de l’Union pour mener l’enquête disciplinaire concernant la possibilité de fraude à la compétition dans la phase finale de la dernière saison de football.
L’autorisation de consultation et de copie est limitée à une liste de 35 pièces pertinentes pour la finalité disciplinaire et dont la divulgation ne porte pas préjudice aux intérêts de l’enquête pénale.

In the context of the ongoing federal judicial investigation into a criminal organisation, forgeries, money laundering, and private corruption operating in the football world, the investigative coordinator for the prosecutor’s “Falsification of Competition” service at the KBVB/URBSFA has been given, today, the copy of a number of documents from the criminal file pertaining to the so-called “match fixing section”.
This occurred due to the written request of the investigative coordinator after approval from the investigating judge and the Federal Public Prosecutor’s Office.
The investigative coordinator was appointed by the Football Union’s prosecutor in order to lead the disciplinary investigations regarding the possible falsification of competition during the final phase of the previous football season.
The authorisation to access and take a copy is limited to a list of 35 documents that are relevant to the disciplinary purpose and whose disclosure do not jeopardise the interests of the criminal investigation.
